Privacy Policy

Effective October 13, 2026.

Who we are

AZ Home Inspection Services ("AZHI," "we," "us") is a home inspection company serving the Phoenix, Arizona metro area. Bob Clardy is our founder and owner. This policy explains what information our website, www.azhiservices.com, collects, how we use it and who receives it.

What we collect when you send a form

Each form asks for your name and phone number. Most other fields are optional.

  • Get a quote (home, pricing and many service and city pages): name and phone, plus optional email, property type, city and a note about the property.
  • Request Your Inspection (contact page): name and phone, plus optional email, property address, city, property type, square footage, year built, the inspection and services you want, a preferred date and notes.
  • Request forms on our advertising pages (pages reached from our Google ads): one multiple-choice answer, such as when your inspection period ends, then name and phone, plus optional buyer's agent name, or property city or ZIP code and your deadline. These forms do not ask for email.

Each request also records the form and page it came from, the service or city that page covers, the time it was sent and a reference number we show you.

What is collected automatically

How you found us. When your visit starts, our site notes the page you landed on, any other website that referred you (site and page only, not the full link), campaign tags in the link (such as utm_source) and ad click IDs (such as Google's gclid, gbraid or wbraid, Microsoft's msclkid or Facebook's fbclid). The record stays in your browser's session storage until you close the tab, and reaches us only as part of a form request. We use it to see which pages and ads lead to requests, and may use a Google click ID to tell Google Ads which clicks led to booked inspections.

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use the site. Google's tag collects information such as the pages you view, how you arrived, your device and browser and your approximate location, and uses cookies to recognize return visits. Our code also reports a few actions, such as tapping our phone number, email address or main buttons, starting a form and whether it was sent, labeled only with where on the page they happened. Our code does not send what you type into a form to Google.

Google Ads. Google's advertising tag tells Google Ads when a visit leads to a form request or a tap on our phone number, using cookies to connect those actions to the ad that was clicked, so we can see which ads work. We have turned off ad personalization for our site, so Google does not use visits to our site to show our ads to past visitors on other websites ("remarketing").

Call tracking. When you call us from one of our Google ads, or from our site after arriving from one, the call may go through a Google forwarding number in place of our main number, 480-805-2025. Calls to it ring through to us, and Google reports details to us, such as the call's time and length, your area code and, for most calls over 15 seconds, your phone number. If call recording is on, a short message at the start of the call says so. When a call that came through one of these numbers leads to a booked inspection, we may send Google the call's start time and your phone number so Google Ads can count the booking against the ad you clicked.

Our host and our server. Vercel, which hosts this website, receives technical information such as your IP address and browser type when it delivers a page. When you send a form, our server briefly uses a hashed (one-way coded) form of your IP address to limit repeated submissions; it is not saved with your request. Our site's own logs are built to record a reference number and the delivery result, not what you typed.

Videos. Two pages offer a YouTube video. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play; the player then loads from YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com), and Google receives information such as your IP address. Google says these views are not used to personalize your YouTube experience or ads.

Everything else on our pages, including fonts, images and the service-area map, is served from our own website.

How we use your information

We use it to:

  • reply to your request, give you a price and schedule your inspection;
  • keep records of requests and of the work we do;
  • learn which pages, ads and campaigns bring requests and booked inspections, and improve them;
  • keep the site working and protect it from spam and abuse.

Who receives it

We share information with these companies, which help us run the site, respond to you and measure our advertising:

  • Vercel hosts the website.
  • Twilio SendGrid delivers each form request to our business inbox as an email.
  • Arizona Pixel Lab, our website and advertising agency, maintains the site, manages the hosting and email-delivery accounts behind it, and manages our Google advertising, including telling Google Ads which requests and calls became booked inspections.
  • Google provides Google Analytics, Google Ads, call tracking and the YouTube player described above. Google explains how it uses this information at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites ("How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services").

Our website does not send requests to a customer database (CRM) today. If we connect one, we will update this policy. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or anyone's safety, or as part of a sale of our business. Our pages also link to other websites, such as review sites, which have their own privacy practices.

We do not sell your personal information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not give or rent your contact details to other companies for their own marketing. Google receives the information described above through the analytics and advertising tools we use.

Cookies and similar technologies

Our own code stores one item in your browser, the "how you found us" record, and sets no cookies. Google's tags set cookies on our site: Google Analytics cookies (names starting with _ga), which last up to two years by default, and Google Ads cookies (names starting with _gcl), which last 90 days by default.

You can:

Our site does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals. Through the tools above, Google may collect information about your activity over time and across different websites.

Text messages

This website does not send text messages, and none of our forms asks for permission to text you.

How long we keep it

We keep the information you send us for as long as we need it to respond to you and for our business records. Your browser clears the "how you found us" record when you close the tab. Google Analytics keeps visit-level data for no more than 14 months; summary reports may be kept longer.

Children

This site is for adults arranging property inspections. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Our pages and forms use an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Our server accepts only a fixed list of form fields, limits their length and limits repeated submissions. No website or email system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of information sent online.

Your choices and how to contact us

You can call us instead of using a form, leave optional fields blank, and limit cookies as described above. To ask what information we have about you, or to ask us to correct or delete it, contact us:

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our website or practices change. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
